How courses work

Our Engineering diploma program is designed to fit into a busy life.

Subjects are delivered online as individualized study. We'll provide you with everything you need, and you set your own schedule to complete the course. You will have access to a SEI-LMS web portal and will receive a learning resources package that may include

  • lecture notes
  • textbooks (or e-texts)
  • workbooks
  • lab kits
  • study guides
  • online resources
  • manuals
  • a recommended study schedule

How can you access to course and online resources?

Once you've completed your SEIEngineering Diploma Distance Education entrance application, you can register for courses immediately. Once your registration has been processed, you will

  • get access to your eText or other online resources
  • receive your print text or other learning resources
  • receive an e-letter in LMS with your Student Support information
  • get access to your course site in LMS on the course start date
  • start on your start date – tutorial support begins then

Program regulations and program plans

Your program regulations are the requirements you need to meet in order to complete your City &Guilds credential. As long as you are an active student, you will follow the program regulations in place at the time you enrolled.

SEI campus has developed program plans to help you keep track of the course you've completed and those still to come. Our academic advisors are also available to help you to choose your courses.
